RESU10M consists of two modules and a BPU (Battery Protection Unit). The battery module weighs 36 kg , the low weight makes it easy to handle and light when compared with monobloc systems. its weight and size characteristics make it transportable and manageable with ease. In addition to the two modules of 36kg each, the BPU which weighs only 8kg must be taken into consideration. Even when all three parts are combined , it only reaches 80kg in weight, which is exceptionally light for a 10kWh battery. In conclusion, the modular structure will reduce the effort of the installer in carrying it and positioning it on site, thus saving on labor costs and shortening installation times.
 This small battery is specifically compatible with the SMA Sunny Boy Storage 3.7 inverter. Even without an internal DC / DC converter, the RESU10M interfaces directly with the SBS inverter.
 The ability to connect directly to the inverter even without a DC / DC converter has given us the ability to create a very compact and efficient battery. The LG Energy Solution new generation electrochemical cells have been organized in series in order to reach the voltage required by the SMA inverter.
